Regardless if you believe in Darwin’s theory of evolution or not, it’s evident in Lowell’s very own streetwear brand “GUALA GANG.”
From humble beginnings in a spare room, to owning their very own clothing studio in downtown Lowell; they are no stranger to the process of evolving.
GUALA is currently going through a revamp of their IG and website.
GUALA creative director, “jakkdenny,” has been in charge with the brand for a year now. He states, “The ability to grow and see our brand in a new light every chance we get is a gift from God.” We asked what inspires his “experiments.” jakkdenny said, “A need, and time. I see empty space that needs. And also a feeling that it’s time to change things up. We keep our aesthetic and image the same, but, we do improve it. Constantly moving towards the purest form.”
You can expect GUALA to always strive towards abstraction and evolution. Not being scared to try something new. It’s only natural selection.
